The 11 Essentials Every Blog Post Needs

Yes, I Do!

I-Love-BloggingWhile I admit I have those days when I think, “What the heck am I going to write about,” I love blogging.

I’ve written a lot of words since I was a little girl – stories, letters, diaries, and even the attempt at a novel or two.

I wish I could write like Agatha Christie or Daphne Du Maurier or any of a half-dozen female authors I love to read.  However, I don’t think I have a novel in me.  Blogging fills that desire in me to write, and I’m grateful to be alive during this wonderful time.

Infographics – WOW!

I LOVE infographics.  They are so clever.  They provide instruction in a fun, compact way.  They are kind of like a map of what to do so you can get where you want to be.

I found this wonderful infographic that I wanted to share with you, and then I will begin covering each point in more detail.  Enjoy!

I agree Leslie this is a terrific Infographic and you know what I like best? It’s actually big enough to read! Seriously, I can’t believe how many of these people post that are so small you can’t even make out the printing … okay enough of the rant. Anyway, great points and very attractive. Thanks for sharing!

I agree, Marquita. I think they are a great idea, but I think people try to put too much on them. I thought this was very attractive, and I’m glad you liked it!

Wow!, nice article post. You hit the hammer directly on the nail. There is no doubt, one the key ways to attract more click/visitors is ARTICLE TITLE & CONTENT.

You need to take your time to create a good headline before the content, after coming up with good article title then think on the points to write on, your first paragraph really matters alot and i was glad you mentioned it.

Well optimized image is advisable make sure the image you are using in your article has a good connection with the post content. Great infographics! :)

You’ve said it right. These tips that you shared above are all essential in creating a blog post.

Headline, you should write a magnetic one to attract your readers to read your content. Also, your choices of words should be persuasive and powerful to generate a great CTA. Use bullet points to highlight important details and write friendly subheads to avoid your readers to be scanners. Seductive story, cliffhangers and unique images are effective to drive your readers’ interest.

    Great post indeed! :)

The infographic said it all. At least, for a blog that deals with content creation, these are great ideas. Internal cliffhangers and the use of persuasive words are readily important to determining the best contents.
